Design sprint
"We wanted to create the best for the most for the least"
When was the last time you opt for the more difficult, more expensive approach to solve a problem?
That is the reason for why the adoption of the Design Sprint practice has been skyrocketing worldwide. But prior to backing up that claim, let me set the stage with a few foundation for the reader that is unfamiliar with the term Layout Sprint.
What's a Design Sprint?
Think of a challenge the company you're in may be confronting. If you can not think of an actual one, just play along and pretend you've got one. Now, what if you could work together with customers, employees, and spouses to correct, enhance, or even completely transform that circumstance?
Imagine if I told you all of this--from discovery to remedy--could be achieved very cheaply in a deadline as brief as a week?
Well, that's the power of a Design Sprint.
A Layout Sprint allows a product development group to use Design faking to map users and stakeholders' requirements and work together with them to create and test solutions with actual users in just a couple of days. Now I'm sounding a lot like those "as seen on TV" ads, but wait, there's more: everything can be done with an extremely low, near zero budget.
All of the make Design Sprints a very low cost / high additional value "gig" no item developer is able to be unfamiliar with.
There are many approaches to Design Sprints, but the overall flow of a Design Sprint follows this structure:

This is where Sprint Masters gather the team, analyze previous known materials, work on consumer recruitment, and extent the challenge definition.
User research
Some strategies rely more heavily on human-centered research than many others and might differ on what types of consumers the sprinting team is much more interested in having discussions with. This is a crucial stage to inform the team on the best way to make relevant offers that solve real problems and address actual needs.
Thought Generation
This is the point where the Sprint master along with the training staff get together with end customers, specialists, and other significant stakeholders to generate ideas and enhance concepts.
Prototypes are a lot of fun. This stage is where the sprinting team tests the newly created concepts with end-users and gathers valuable feedback.
Adjust & Iterate
Occasionally during a rush the sprinting team might have the chance to make alterations to their prototypes and conduct a second prototyping session.
Like I stated before, there are many ways you can learn from in regards to Design Sprints. In this article, I will talk about two: The Google Ventures version and the MVS model.
